Barking won 6 - 2 in the summer tournament played 14
July. The games were closer than the final scoreline suggests.

Chingford won 5- 3 in the summer tournament . A tougher tournament than expected!

We had a nice victory over the aptly named "Diss Appointed" from Norfolk. It started badly when I didn't do my job properly and lost the toss for the first time this season. This gave us 2 whites and 3 blacks. In the end wins from Pepe, Jonathan and myself secured the victory. Special mention should go to Pepe for coming out on top after a rollercoaster of a game. Jonathan had a typical squeeze with absolutely no risk and I somehow persuaded my opponent to go a bit wrong.
