More teams for Hackney as we go from strength to strength

Hackney CC held its AGM on Saturday. The business end was brisk and many thanks to Frank Chin for staying on as treasurer; Jonny Tennyson continues as chairman.

We decided to enter a team in Division Five of the London League which will give us teams in Divs 1,2,4 and 5. This is on the back of a great season for the second team which Shaun Tracey led to promotion and the third team which gave regular games to lower graded players.The Div 5 team will be made up of the increasing number of young players showing interest in playing for us, so as we old codgers take to watching cricket and football on TV (step forward Mark and Peter) the future of the best club in the UK will be in safe hands!

Congratulations too to Shaun Tracey's National Club Intermediate which won the Plate.

There were excellent grading jumps for Shaun Tracey, Tarun Malhotra, Elyes Rigby-Zeghlache, Hrsito Colov, Kevin Bowmer and Gerald Howgate.
