The match between Capablanca and Hackney 2 for the London Chess League Division 3 has been cancelled following Capablanca's withdrawal from the competition

A great result at Fortress Metropolitan last night (in the sense that no player can ever find the place). As it stands with Frank Chin adjourned two pawns up, we are 7-2 up so in all probability we are in for an 8-2 start to get out of Div 3. Well done to David Ladds who opened his account with a win.
