Hackney 2 as beaten fellow promotion contenders Hendon 2 at home to recover the second place in the Middlesex League Division 3. One more win against West London and Hackney 2 are off to play in the Division 2 next season.
Hackney IK has won against Barking in the North Circular Division 1 to stay clear of the relegation zone.
Hackney as played the last match for the London Chess League Division 1 and drew to Athenaeum.
Hackney 2 has won against Wanstead 2 to finish the London League Division 3 in a respectable 3rd place, equal with Streatham 2 on match points, but down on game points. Close, but no enough.
Barnet defaulted the last match for Hackney in the North Circular League Division 1.
Hackney 1 drew at home to West London 1 and finished 2nd in the Middlesex League Division 1.
Hackney 2 failed to get the half point needed to guarantee promotion from the Middlesex League Division 3 and finished the season in a still good 3rd place.
